Coverack Arts Weekend
The Lambeage Hall at Coverack is delighted to be hosting the third Coverack Arts Weekend from 21st to 24th July. Featured will be the fabulous singing and harmonies of ‘Femmes de la Mer’ with a programme of their arrangements including sea shanties and original songs on the evening of 23rd and on the afternoon of 24th we are very excited to welcome the ever-popular Will Keating with his songs of Cornwall.
The Weekend starts on Thursday 22nd July with a showing of THE DUKE – a brilliant film starring Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren followed by the Coverack Carnival on Friday 22nd
There will be a sale of Local Artisans’ work and members of Coverack Art Society will be painting around the village.
Coverack Writing Group’s will have a pre-loved book stall and discovery trail around the Coverack Battery.
On Sunday the 24th H Coverack’s own wildlife adventurer Robin Hobson will present ‘Tales from Africa’ (Zambia, Botswana, South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho)
Lunch boxes will be provided by The Greenhouse Restaurant and there will be the usual Bar plus Belinda’s Pimms Bar and James’ amazing Crepes.
